Candles for Centrepieces

When creating centrepieces for a wedding, holidays, parties or just a special meal, candles are a great accent that will have your table looking beautiful. With centrepieces, you can select from an assortment of different types of candles, depending on what look you are trying to achieve.

Floating Candles

For a elegant, yet affordable centrepiece float candles in a bowl of water. Several kinds of candles are made just for floating. For example the Scented Rose Floating Candles (pictured above) are a fantastic choice. These romantic, elegant candles come in a set of three. They can be displayed together in a bowl of water or separate glasses. These candles are scented with white rose and sculpted beautifully.

Another great idea is to buy Bolsius Floating Candles for larger events. These simple candles come in a convenient 30-pack. They are made with a premium wax blend and burn up to 5 hours.

Pillar Candles

Floating candles aren't the only types of candles that make for nice centrepieces. Another fantastic option is pillar candles. These large thick candles can be placed on a candle plate or holder for a sophisticated and stylish look.

The silver pillar candle pictured above is a wonderful selection for Christmas or anytime of year that you want to add some extra shine to your decor. Unscented beeswax candles won't interfere with the aroma of foods, or you can choose festive, scented candles instead. Large pillar candles can often burn well over 50 hours.

Swazi candles and jar candles can also be incorporated into centrepieces very nicely.
